I wonder how the VA will feel to know they just dropped 100,000 dollars in help for me to open a indoor shooting range(I am a disabled vet) and now i wont be able to open my doors because of OSHA regs, left hand and right hand arent talking. these idoits need to get real jobs and accually work for a living.

So if OSHA was proposing to tell you that you had to have an OSHA certified electrician on staff to set up your sound equipment and plug in your guitar (or you can’t play in a commercial establishment) you wouldn’t the first one howling…B.S.

Given that the government’s main ammo plant is in Missouri, you might also drop a note to MO’s two Senators. I believe the plant is located in the 4th District. represented by Ike Skelton (D). Skelton is also the Chair of the House Armed Services Committee, so the ‘detrimental effect on defense preparedness’ argument might work well there.

Note: Skelton’s district also includes Ft Leonard Wood and Whiteman AFB. I met him once when he came to Ft Jackson, and he seemed more receptive on Defense issues than, say, Pelosi.

We certainly need more government regulation, particularly since we seem to read about ammo factory fires and explosions pretty much all the time.

We really need bureaucrats, who seldom venture out of their cubicles, to tell the good people at Winchester, Georgia Arms, etc. how to make ammo.
