The muse is lacking. Hopefully not for long. First the thing at KnoxViews and then the thing with Brittney at Nitwits, it took something away. There is a malaise.

That and ever single .gov around Knoxville seems to be set on self destruct. As a bonus they are also raising property taxes in Loudon and Blount Counties despite the state having a surplus and many counties getting a windfall from the BEP for schools. Next year Knox County will get theirs.

All the politicos seem to wear white hats but there are no Will Kane’s. Every week a new scandal. Where in the hell is the DA? The lure of apathy is very strong. It is tempting to say “a pox on all you fuckers” and just sit out for a while.

Not even sparring with the usual suspects on the Blab seems to be invigorating.

I guess the Presidential election is getting people down also. I wish it were over already.
