He's a genuinely nice guy, but he was certainly wrong about the resolution. I don't know that I'd put any particular anti-gun animus on him in this situation, as he is very committed to keeping the city parks in Jackson as an open, safe place for the public. I think his idea is wrong-headed by trying to keep lawful CCP holders from carrying, though. Good guy, bad idea. I used to live in Jackson, and I know Tony Black.
