What are the liquor laws in Tennesee? Our crew tried to shut down a bar on Beale Street last weekend, and we couldn’t do it. And we shut down Texas bars all the time (2am).

In today’s politics, true liberals are actually libertarians. Otherwise about the only difference in liberals and conservatives are re: the different things they want to the government to restrict and control.

Actually the words are adjectives rather than nouns. I want to conserve the Constitution and Bill of Rights so as to restrict the government and have a liberal society, i.e., more liberty for the people.

Liberal = Open

The historic definition of “liberal” (small ‘l’) is open, free, unrestricted.
It is the opposite of “conservative”, which follows past rituals, controlled, and restricted.

Kinda like the opposite of progress is Congress….
