Means you have to call EOD, because you have a live warhead laying right in front of you.

And let’s hope those things are armed by sufficient acceleration or some such safeguard. I know some of the m203 thingys are spin armed.

Not to further burst anyone’s bubble, but I’ve heard stories (never seen it happen, because we never had any of the missiles to actually fire) of similar things happening in the US Army with the old M47 Dragon missile. Except in those cases the launch charge had a bit more oomph.

Basically, the missile is probably at or past the end of it’s shelf life. In the cases with the M47s, the launch charge worked, throwing the missile out of the tube, but the main rocket doesn’t. Means you have to call EOD, because you have a live warhead laying right in front of you.

AP and UPI reported that the French Government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from Run to Hide.

The only two higher levels in France are Surrender and Collaborate.

The raise was precipitated by a recent fire which destroyed France’s white flag factory, effectively disabling their military.
