If memory serves me correctly, they elected a party that had - a while ago - been against guns. Then - to get elected - voiced strong support for personal firearms. Shortly after winning the election, the began banning guns. I will *always* be wary of politicians, but I am more wary of politico's who suddenly change their stripes. Especially when they haven't changed their moral basis. I think that to see the evil of the Dems on guns, we need to look at the Aussies.
