Casey has said he would vote against an assault weapons ban, but we'll have to see. Being anti-gun in a state wide office will generally get you in trouble, but I worry he'll try to stay in the middle to placate the Democratic base in Philadelphia. He better stick to his word, because I voted for the dumb bastard despite him being a lackluster candidate. Hopefully he'll be as good as Santorum was on the gun issue. Santorum was objectively the better candidate, but I find his socially conservative views revolting enough that I couldn't vote for him. I think Webb and Tester are a sure thing.
