Oh, they’re afraid of refugees alright — those upper-class liberals fleeing the Socialist People’s Republik of Kalifornia. They come to small towns in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and then promptly seek to turn them into a new version of their Worker’s Paradise (see Park City, UT and Ketchum, ID). The words “Gulf Coast” should actually read “West Coast”.

They can be, but the majority of refugees shown on the TV were Black, and that is what the folks in Idaho were reacting to.
