He's an interesting guy. He's very smart and very ambitious. Sure, he panders to a liberal base, but if there's one thing he understands it's political reality. I don't see the Dems blowing it by shifting hard left. I see them blowing it by a complete lack of vision, ideas, and plans. I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose the senate in 2008.
