I doubt they'll stay that way if they regain control of one or both Houses of Congress, though. Gun Control is an issue that is dear to the hearts of the Left-wing base, and they'll insist on getting <em>something</em> from the new Democrat majority. Whether or not Pelosi will be able to deliver is another story. As a member of Gunowners of America, from which he has earned an "F" rating, I would welcome such repentance IF he is elected. I assume he would then, NOT support an almost certain renewel effort by the Democrats of the so-called "assault weapons" ban.
