I’ll be there
Will you? The Gun Blogger Rendezvous is next week in Reno, NV. I’ll be getting in late Thursday. Looks like an all-star gun-blogging line up will be there.
There’s also prizes and range time planned. Trying to figure out the best way to transport some toys with me to Reno, as flying with Mr. Blasty and my UltiWASR may be tough. And ammo. And mags. And everything else.
I thought about mailing them. Any suggestions?

I think you’d be better off flying them, but I’ve never tried it since 9/11.

Flying with them should not be a problem. I flew to Alaska back in July with two pistols and there was no hassle whatsoever. It made me wish I had brought my AR, too. Don’t know who you’re flying, but Delta allows up to 2 rifles in one case without having to pay extra. And 11lbs of ammo. I don’t think the extra mags and accessories should be a problem either.

Going to matches were we wanted lots of ammo my buds and I would ship ammo to ourselves at the hotel. Of course that was self-loaded match ammo.
If it’s a common caliber you might buy it there or order some and have it shipped it to the hotel (check with them first).
Our guns we always carried with us, in checked baggage, on the plane.
