It started the day our daughter moved into her own room. Our son started coming in for nightly visits - he had been moved to his room (we dedicated one room as a nursery, started our son there, then moved him into his "big boy" room complete with "big boy" [toddler] bed) and was no longer constrained by the crib, so he got out of his bed, out of his room, and came into our bed. Took a lock off the bathroom door, swapped it around and we're good to go. Just did it with our daughter now - she had been really good about staying in her room, but she's in the TERRIBLE THREES now and has started getting out loooong after we've put her to bed. IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP: Leave one of the pin-key thingies somewhere in the room.
