If he wants diversity, the panel should give him a few Republicans.

Ironically, the only Republican to serve during my rather extensive lifetime was a black attorney appointed by Lamar Alexander in 1980 or 1981.

He failed the confidence vote at the first Supreme Court “election”.

Bredesen has been a pretty good governor, but this seals the deal.

I am voting for Bryson.

How about the diversity of having a Constitutonalist on the Tennessee Supreme Court. You know, those who obey and rule according to the law as it is written in plain English. They are certainly a minority.
