It is, after all, you condemnation.

You must do your part to ensure that those 1,000+ rounds of ammunition are never used in an inappropriate manner. The only way to be *certain* of that is to expend them in an appropriate manner.

Now get busy condemning yourself.

Seriously, that comment of mine was intended to illustrate what I saw as the absurd arguments of a couple of other commenters on the whole Greenwald thing. And I think the question I posed then still stands: What do you do when, in the final extreme, the officials elected or appointed above you behave with complete disregard for personal liberty, the laws or the Constitution? Thomas Jefferson had, as I recall, a little something to say on the care and feeding of the tree of liberty…a comment so “extreme” as to put “Rope, tree, judge” or “Give ‘em the ammo first” to shame.

No doubt Greenwald’s condemnation of Jefferson will be forthcoming.
