They got slapped down repeatedly by courts that they were out of their jurisdiction. They were clearing almost 2 million a year, which for a town with a couple of cops is pretty good. The state supreme court even ruled against them. It didn't matter. They're still running the trap and collecting the cash. Protect and serve my arse...
