Has anyone every been prosecuted for 922r violations? I'm kind of curious how the ATF would know where certain umarked parts actually originate from. I was somewhat worried about this when I replaced the furniture on my AK-47 with a furniture set made by Ironwood Designs in California (he makes very nice looking sets, if you think you have ugly AK furniture, I would highly recommend). These actually increased the US part count on my rifle, but how would you prove it wasn't Russian furniture? I kept the recipt as proof. But how would one prove the origin of the part if they were unmarked? I suppose machine patterns would be different or something.
