AK Stuff

Head sets us straight on parts counts to stay legal when building an AK.

Has anyone every been prosecuted for 922r violations? I’m kind of curious how the ATF would know where certain umarked parts actually originate from. I was somewhat worried about this when I replaced the furniture on my AK-47 with a furniture set made by Ironwood Designs in California (he makes very nice looking sets, if you think you have ugly AK furniture, I would highly recommend). These actually increased the US part count on my rifle, but how would you prove it wasn’t Russian furniture? I kept the recipt as proof. But how would one prove the origin of the part if they were unmarked? I suppose machine patterns would be different or something.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
