Good for you, Uncle! Had a job interview once where I’d driven most of an hour with the temp almost 100 and the a/c out on my Datsun (that’s right, Datsun). Had such a headache I stopped at a 7-11 for asprin and a Dr. Pepper. Clerk told me there were jobs available where I was going, as the union had everyone out on strike. Went home. Another HR rep said they were interested; when I arrived, she opened my file (obviously for the first time) and said, “Oh! You’re expensive!” And I left. Actually got a good job (most of the 20 years there might be considered “good”) when a headhunter was directed to me by a friend.
I’ll drop by most days, anyway, just to see how you’re doing. Be well!

Good luck with the new gig – I took a shot at a 90-day consulting assignment once … in 1989. Been there ever since. Sweet.
