Doesn’t matter. Plenty of idiots will believe it CAN work, and they’ll implement it. Thousands of false positives won’t be enough to dissuade them, either. As long as they get an occasional random hit on someone that is carrying, they’ll feel justified that they’re saving mankind.

I can think of a few behavioral/dress cues that might be a giveaway: * Wears oversized outer shirt * Wears long jacket * Wears vest * Fanny pack * Holds jacket/shirt closed in windy weather * Often adjusting outer 'covering' to prevent riding up and printing I also have my doubts that a bunch of software people, who have no experience carrying a weapon, would know what behaviors to even look for.
