Good SciFi TV shows for an adult audience are so few and far between I really hope it doesn't happen to BG. Being consistent within their universe is the very basis for Science Fiction as opposed to Fantasy where things are solved using FM (sexual term Magic). Read some of the questions and answers on www.scifi.com with Ron More--the executive producer/writer of BG. Others have pointed out the same "tech" issues. I'd rather the writers actually work to solve any problems within the technology they created for their universe rather than pull out the magic wand and solve the problem with FM like they did so many times in Star Trek:TNG and newer. Now I'd have to spend 10 or 15 hours watching just to get caught up. Also, from what I've seen of it, the show is <i>incredibly</i> dark, and I generally like my entertainment more escapist than that.
