I guess when nobody wants to call and talk to him he has to vamp. And why would anybody want to call and talk to him? If you don’t agree with him or the latest KNOXGOB/UT/TVA/KNS party line gets all superior and condescending. Hell, he’s superior all the time. He is a legend in his own mind, with talent on loan from… from… somebody.

Did not know that. When you don’t listen you don’t know.

That could be very bad for Knox County since HHH’s boss Mike Hammond is already a Knox County Commissioner. Since Hammond became Commissioner coverage of local events and elections has plummeted on WNOX. Hammond is a key Ragsdale insider. A Torchbearer is you will.

It is bad enough that WNOX provides little coverage on key issues and elections. To have the employees of WNOX run for office is worse. While this is legal how much sense does it make to elect these people?

Don’t know his show, but in his defense, he probably looks at the average commute in the local area and calculates it to e x number of minutes. He then assumes for the average commuter he only has to program x number of minutes cause thats all they hear. IF he repeats himself over and over and over and over no one cares cause they ain’t listening anymore.

Its sort of like buskers on the subway. A few are truly great musicians, while many of them sound like great musicians while you walk by cause they know 1 or 2 songs and thats all they ever play (cause the average person only hears 30 seconds of them playing) and they play the hell out of those 1 or 2 songs.

I would like to encourage everyone to call Hallerin and ask him what happened to his radio show. Fives years ago it used to be a good program. He had some guts back then. He has completely sold out to the political machine in Knoxville. Is there a worse powder puff radio program around here? His TeeVee show is even worse. Either program kills more brain cells than the worst night of binge drinking.

Want to have some fun? Call him and challenge him. Say something like, “How did you get to be so dumb? He will go off. Now the only time his show is any fun is when someone sets him off. What little morning radio I listen too is over at AM 1180. Not fair and not balanced but at least they don’t kiss the ass of the Knoxville political machine.

Amen. I can’t stand him or his show. I remember him giving favorable press on the wheel tax and one day he got called on being a board member of the Beck Cultural Center…due to receive about a million from the wheel tax. He went apeshit that people would question his credibility and the possibility of conflict of interest. And as you say repeated this ad nauseum. Horrible.
