Karl Malone is Mormon? I sure missed that one. I wonder if he knows it. I mean, it’s kinda hard to miss; there are no proxy baptisms for the living.

Sounds like they spent too much time in Da Publik Skools.

I recall being in a gun store here in Seattle a few months back and there were a bunch of granola looking young adults (2 black and 2 white, for what it’s worth) interested in buying an AK-47 type semi auto rifle. They obviously didn’t know anything about guns and I kinda got the feeling they were there with some alterior motive.

Anyway, they asked the guy working the counter about the NRA and if they respected “diversity” or something to that effect. I piped up that Malone was a well known member (should have mentioned Watts instead) and they responded something about how he was a Mormon and a wife beater. I was kinda stunned and didn’t know how to respond. I guess if you’re an oreo you aren’t black anymore or something, at least that was the cut of their jib that I got. Kinda strange.

My high school played against his old school. I saw his illegitamate daugther play also (when the girl is 6 feet tall in 9th grade, she was kinda easy to stop.).

Also i remember waiting in line to get his sig when he was traveling around in his truck of his. I wonder if i still have it.
