Anti-gun hysteria officially out of control

Via Ben, comes this from a NYC teacher:

Today in our weekly PD it was mentioned that the region doesn’t want us to use the term “bullet points” anymore because it has a negative connotation.

I guess we need to start calling them Nerf points?

    Headline:

“Bullet Points” Shot Down By Anti-Gun School Board. Sanity Blown Away.

Guess they won’t be drinking Coor’s at the retirement parties either. (Silver Bullet and all that.) What jerks!

  3. homebru Says:

“Moron points” or “Management points”. But I repeat myself.

  4. Marc Says:

This will lead to a niggardly use of typographical language.

  5. Standard Mischief Says:

I swear I’m reading the blog backwards today. Marc stole my comment on “Are factual statements racist?”

  6. Marc Says:

Dang. I always get in trouble when I use that word. I should have taken Standard Mischief’s advice from that previous post.

We also need a new word for the caret (^) because the caret implies the stick and the stick implies punishment and corporal punishment is wrong.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
