Fee, Fie, Fo, Fum…something my nostrils detect hails that particular stench of Gov. Blankout. Now were I a good agent of our federal government, I would certainly note various contentions and points of law; then accede to both the decision and directive of the States executive branch and go merrily about my way.

One way or the other, the fit’s definitely going to hit the shan.

My understanding is that these actions were being carried out by the NO Police and the National Guard – both acting under the direction of the gun banning bigot Democrat Mayor of New Orleans and/or the Democrat Governor of Louisiana

Uncle,
licensed security guards are eempted formt he governor’s ability to compell evacuation. This is acording to the Power of the Governor law. They’re not being disarmed because they cannot be compelled to leave. they are seen by the state as an asset inn that they will protect property & thus free up police resources.

Yeah, I know.

I’m just saying it’s not about a money or class thing – it’s just the state thought security guards that were licensed were close enough to cops to not be able to be kicked out of an area. & since they’re pretty much ineffective disarmed, the cops decided no to risk their skins by trying to disarm them.

& the reason for the confiscations is that the cops don’t want ot get their assess shot (like they should) when they go around kicking people out of their own homes.

but in a period of reconstruction federal officers are using force to disarm southerners in a southern city? If this doesn’t stop I’m not sure I’m going to be able to resist the urge to go down there. If it was NC I would have already left. & I imagine I’m not the only one. After all, weren’t some boys from the neighboring county rushing to lexington when they heard there was trouble?

Oh & Uncle, I have faith that you could escort an even 5 out with ya. Just use the MAK.
