How come we never hear complaints about breeds specifically invented to go after humans, such as the Doberman Pinscher, and to a lesser extent the German Police Dog (now euphemised as "German Shepherd") and ugh, the Rottweiler? I swear, if I worked in a vet's office, I would not assist in any treatment for any of those anti-human dogs other than euthanasia or sterilization. Oh, and note that those breeds were all created by Germans. I like their music, I like their mechanical toys, but I don't like their politics or their dogs. ( I can't stand Dachshunds, either.) That reminds me of a news story I saw while I was in the great socialist utopia of Oreagon. A pit bull had killed someone's cat. The spent about 10 mins on that story. It took 3 to 4 mins to learn that the "pit bull" did not attack a person. Hah hah.
