It's not his ignorance of biology that bothers me so much as the fact that his research into the matter was too shallow, his thinking too superficial, and his humility insufficient to make him feel like he should consult someone like a doctor who might know more than he. I would much rather have a justice who thinks things through and arrives at conclusions that repulse me than one who just makes shit up to match his preconceptions.
