Ah, that does not include all the compliance parts you need. For that rifle, you should have six U.S. parts. The setup you list above has four - receiver, trigger, disconnector and hammer. You need to buy two more. The usual choices are U.S made pistol grip, gas piston or muzzle brake.

Where the hell did you find a parts kit with compliance parts for $125???

Usually, it runs me:

Kit: $100 - $200 depending on type
Flat: $13
Rivets: $5 ish
Partial can of Gunkote: $10
Shipping for everything $20

- Compliance parts -
FCT: $32
Gas Piston: $18
Muzzle brake: $18

The minumum I can build one for is just over $200, and that does not include ammortization of the tooling cost over the builds.

I've thought about going the title ii route and getting licensed to make weapons for resale (and, of course, the added bonus of being able to make machine guns and silencers) but have yet to find anyone locally who can answer my 'how-to' questions.

And it will be $138 and my time. The latter is harder to come by these days.

Your gonna build a complete rifle for $138???

You really ought to consider getting yourself the proper license and going into business. Not sure what the time costs are, or what the actual market demands are, but it seems to me you can pretty easily double your money at least selling them.
