I really hate to rain on your parade, but the Tennessee Bloggers awards are a marketing scam. They give them out like candy. You put the link up on your high-traffic blog and send people to their skeletal website, where they in turn sell the eyeballs to advertisers.
They’ve been at this for a while now, and pretty soon every blog in Tennessee will be an award winner. Again, I’m sorry to be such a downer, but it amazes me how blogger skepticism goes out the window when awards are involved.
