If it was an innocent mistake and she promptly brought it to the attention of the authorities it is so stupid that she is being charged. Of course, it is my belief that we would all be safer if we were allowed to carry weapons on the planes. No terrorist could take over a plane where half the passengers are armed. I sure as hell wouldn't allow a terrorist to get anywhere near that cockpit door.
