		<description>DEATH to Referrer Spammers.  I&#039;m getting 2000 hits a month from beastiality sites.  Blacklist from Movable Type seems to have stopped the comment spammers.

I&#039;ve been trying .htaccess files lately, but have only been able to block myself from the site.  O&#039; Fortuna, one of my commenters sent me one that works on his site.

Today I tried a combination of redirected URL (...if you are not redirected in 10 sec, etc) and .htaccess to see if that helps.  

With the hits you get, spam must be a nightmare.
