Go through your stuff and separate out the stuff you no longer need or want before you move.  Then separate that into trash and stuff that can go to Goodwill or some other charity.

This will save you money (if you&#039;re hiring movers) or work (if it&#039;s DIY).  Money because movers usually charge my weight, and work because you won&#039;t have to unpack it again at the far end.

Last move I gave $300 worth of old clothes to Goodwill and the same amount of old books to the local library.</description>
