Expiration on the news

Just saw coverage of the assault weapons ban on NBC news. They kept referring to formerly banned guns as military assault weapons, which is a lie. However, every gun they showed on the video snippet was a post ban model. Lame.

In other news, on my way home today, I looked for more blood in the streets. Didn’t see any. However, there were some AK47s and Uzis just walking around asking to be picked up. Damnedest thing, really.

Meanwhile, since Spoons wants to know what to get, SayUncle is going shopping. Going to order one of these (with a flat top upper) this week.

Baby Killer! Just look at that thing! It just oozes evil! Are you planning on hiding in the woods and killing children since you can now buy a flash suppressor?…or will you sell it to all the terrorists instead!…I’m moving to Britain where its still “safe”…

    🙂

  2. Spoons Says:

Curious, how are you going to get that equipped? Will it have any of the former ban features? Why do you like the flat top better than the carry handle?

I just got back from my local range/ffl where I had them call RRA to order an Entry Tactical with all the evil goodies including a collapsible stock.

Why an M-4, unless you want to put a (real or fake) grenade launcher on it.

If you’re going with a flat top, why not go to true free-floating handguard too. A collapsible stock is great fun and it makes the weapon easier to store, but they are, in my experience, a bit rattly.

[…] NBC, who has advocated gun control in the past to the point of misleading its viewers, hired armed guards to protect their reporters: NBC News has sent private security personnel to the increasingly dicey Gulf Coast region to help keep its employees safe while covering the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. […]

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
