Whenever I see stuff like this, I cringe. A gunship over a US city. Oh, dear.

You know, it’s disturbing, but one attack I always worry about is a utility van and a couple of 82mm mortars. A few minutes of shelling would be almost impossible to stop and even HE shells, dropped from a hillside or building rooftop into a crowded downtown could raise some serious hell.

That kind of gunship is about the only thing that could stop something like that in time to be of any use.

Valid points but then I would think that it should be a police operation and not a military one. Posse comitatus and all that.
