Unfortunately it will just get worse, vaccination days are days you might as well take vacation time for, as you remain traumatized the rest the day.

As a child, I hated needles. Well, I still don’t like them, but at the age of 5, I was terrified.

My mom, my sister and I went to the doctor to get shots for my sister, who was just a baby. She never flinched. However, they made the mistake of bringing me in, too. When I saw the needle going in her arm, I went batshit.

I was bawling, my sister was bawling. It’s the stuff of legends.

Welcome to parenthood.

And this is coming from a guy who came VERRRRRY close to punching the CATHOLIC PRIEST who baptized my son because he poured too much holy water over him and made him cry…

It’s a good test for a gun owner. Because if there was ever any doubt in your mind as to whether or not you’d be able to pull the trigger, it VANISHES when you realize that it is *YOUR JOB* to protect these little ones.

I wouldn’t hesitate for even a second. I know you wouldn’t either.

(FWIW, I had the EXACT SAME reaction to my son’s first shots.)
