Then the camera pulls back and we see the helicopter has crashed on the highway and is causing the jam. But that was back when the Simpsons was actually funny. To make things even more interesting, he had all the half finished bottles of booze from the previous night's staff party in the vehicle with him. As for dumps having attendants, the primary function here is to keep non-residents out and keep them from shifting the tax burden onto us. Also note how much less amusement my generation would have had if a certain dump had not been closed on Thanksgiving.
