To me the question is, will all the "big" defenders of the 1st Amendment come out to support the 2nd or is their endorsement of the Bill of Rights a more selective one? I have always found it disingenuous when some people will use the 1st Amendment to cover things it was never meant to but treat the 2nd Amendment as though it were just a suggestion of the founders.
